July 2024

Eco School helped to organise a whole school project reusing plastic lids to create a piece of artwork. Everyone in school collected plastic lids and bought them into school where the children in Eco School then sorted them into colours. Once the artwork had been painted every child in the school came and added a plastic lid to the painting.

We still have more lids that will be added this year.

Thank you to everyone who collected lids and contributed to our school project.

 

April 2024

Eco School has been sorting the plastic lids that have been collected.  Soon we will use them to create a mural.

 

February 2024

Year 1 and Year 2 have made posters about looking after the planet and saving the environment. Eco Council thought it would be a good idea to put some of them up around the school to help us remember to do what we can to help.

      

December 2023

This term the Eco Council have met with their classes to talk about:

• the 3 R's, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. They have been discussing how we can do this at home and in school.
• collecting lots of plastic lids which we are going to create a whole school piece of artwork with at the end of the year. 

They also went and supported Hounslow's Park Team by planting lots of bulbs ready for spring!
